Visiting with Edward Swift at his unusual  home in the outskirts of San Miguel de Allende is a tour of  a magical world of art at every turn.  His home, cubist, modern and out of the box  in design, is a reflection of his profuse talent and a  rich container for his many masterpieces.  Edward is a prolific  artist and writer whose days are spent creating from early morning until late at night.  Currently, his works on being displayed at his featured exhibition entitled Only One leg to Stand On, on view at the City Museum of Queretaro  June 23-August 27,2017. Earlier this month, The Grubb Company sponsored a night at the Oakland Symphony . Notes from Mexico featuring renowned pianist LLewellyn Sanchez-Werner and Ballet Folklorico Mexicano de Carlos Moreno. 

The Treasure Sale will take place on March 15th and March 16th  starting at 9 am. at the  Piedmont Community Church , 400 Highland Ave.  This annual sale showcases thousands of quality items  including books, linens, clothes, furniture, art works etc.  that  have been donated by over 300 families.  All proceeds from the sale are used to purchase building materials and travel expenses for over 200 high school students who spend their Spring Break building houses in Mexico for families in need.
