Historic Treasure

Image
One of the most exceptional homes that I have seen recently is located at 1330 Albina in the Monterey Market neighborhood of Berkeley. Rumor has it that it was originally built for a sea captain who wanted to watch the ships coming in and out of the Bay. This would explain many of the nautical details and observation decks. The Berkeley Architectural Heritage Association states that it is one of the finest Victorians in the East Bay. The home has four bedrooms, four baths, study, gourmet kitchen, atelier, sun room with domed ceiling, romantically landscaped gardens and much more. The list price is $2,500,000. Every corner of this wonderfully restored home exhibits beauty, elegance and taste. For a photo tour go to http://www.grubbco.com/
