  Ghost Ranch - Abiquiu, New Mexico Dinosaurs roamed the area 200 million yrs ago and left a collection of their skeletons. When the Indians came they considered it a haunted place full of evil spirits. Later a group of cattle thieves occupied the space. Finally, in a poker game in 1928 the town was put into the hands of Arthur Pack, a wealthy American naturalist who encouraged Georgia O'Keeffe to visit. The artist soon fell in love with the place ~ visiting often and eventually buying a house nearby.

"Bouquet to Art" at the De Young museum is an amazing collection of flower arrangements done by the Bay Are'a top designers in collaboration with the permanent art collection at the museum. A must see!
