Sheila Sabine - Out and About - Point Reyes

Do you want a wonderful day trip? Check out Pt. Reyes - 72,000 acres of rugged coastal beaches, headland and estuaries  to explore about one hour north of San Francisco. Currently Drake’s beach is being occupied by some very special families - the elephant seals. The moms have been giving birth on the beach and today, I saw close up at least 150 basking in the sun as if they were on the French Riviera. The males weigh 5,000 pounds and the one month old babies weigh 250 pounds. Truly a magical experience. Want to learn more about other fun adventures that the Bay Area has to offer?
