The Voice of East Bay Living

During my recent trip to New York, I made a visit to Bergdorf Goodman to see their annual holiday window displays. More than 100 artists worked on  this year's theme - Inspiration. Each window is dedicated to a major  art form-literature, architecture, theater, painting, film, dance and sculpture. Each display is made from its  own set of materials, creating an eight lesson course in art appreciation. You will definitely feel inspired after viewing these amazing displays. 

If you want to go to a great movie theater 10 minutes from the East Bay-- a hop,skip and a jump through the tunnel... try the Orinda Movie Theater .  This adorable Art Deco theater has been completely restored to it's original grandeur. And if you want a delicious meal before the movie, try Siam Orchid  - quiet, wonderful, and moderately priced Thai food.
