2015 San Francisco Decorator Showcase


Here are a few details from the 2015 San Francisco Decorator Showcase. This year, the showcase was held at the Julia Morgan designed mansion at 3630 Jackson St. in Pacific Heights. Some of the best designers in San Francisco decorate every room of this 10,000 room residence. All proceeds from this event benefit the Financial Aid Program of San Francisco University High School.

Rotary Peace Grove at Tilden Park

High atop the hills of Tilden Park sits a serene sanctuary known as the Rotary Peace Grove. This section of the park was donated to Berkeley Rotary in 1955 when they began planting redwood trees. Each year, a different tree is dedicated to a leader in world peace and bronze plaques are displayed with the honorees' names at the base of each tree. The members of the Rotary club prune and  clean up regularly to help preserve the magic and the beauty. The hike to the grove makes a wonderful outing for the entire family.
