Sheila Sabine - Out and About - Children's Creativity Museum in San Francisco

The Children's Creativity Museum is a hands-on multimedia arts and technology museum for kids of all ages, located at the Yerba Buena Gardens in San Francisco. It aims to foster Creativity, Collaboration, and Communication. The museum is well known for its technology-based exhibits which allow youth to produce their own media through various creative processes, digital arts, live performance and music production. 

^I took my granddaughter there last week and I had as much fun as she did!

Rotary Peace Grove at Tilden Park

High atop the hills of Tilden Park sits a serene sanctuary known as the Rotary Peace Grove. This section of the park was donated to Berkeley Rotary in 1955 when they began planting redwood trees. Each year, a different tree is dedicated to a leader in world peace and bronze plaques are displayed with the honorees' names at the base of each tree. The members of the Rotary club prune and  clean up regularly to help preserve the magic and the beauty. The hike to the grove makes a wonderful outing for the entire family.
