Sheila Sabine - Even Museums Move



The old Whitney has become the new Met Breuer, located on Madison And 75th in NYC.  This great space opened in March of 2016. My favorite exhibit is called Unfunished: thoughts left visible - it asks the question when is a work of art finished?

You ask yourself the same question when you're decorating your house -adding furniture or taking out furniture – it is a never ending dance.

Rotary Peace Grove at Tilden Park

High atop the hills of Tilden Park sits a serene sanctuary known as the Rotary Peace Grove. This section of the park was donated to Berkeley Rotary in 1955 when they began planting redwood trees. Each year, a different tree is dedicated to a leader in world peace and bronze plaques are displayed with the honorees' names at the base of each tree. The members of the Rotary club prune and  clean up regularly to help preserve the magic and the beauty. The hike to the grove makes a wonderful outing for the entire family.
