Ready for a museum outing?? How about visiting SFMOMA’s latest exhibition featuring American contemporary abstract artist, Joan Mitchell (1925-1992)

These touch points were constants for Mitchell in a life that moved her from Chicago to New York to her adopted home in France. She was considered one of the most important members of the post war movement of Abstract Expressionism and she lived in the days when female artists rarely achieved fame - she was a trail blazer-  Go Joan!!
